Research Interests

My research is closely connected to my teaching and to my outreach. Relevance in research is critical, and the teaching and outreach linkage provides such relevance. My current line of research focuses on physical education teacher education, curriculum, and pedagogy; in particular teaching physical activity to children with special needs and autonomy-supportive teaching in physical education.
