Research Interests

Dr. McCabe researches prevention and intervention strategies using an eco-developmental approach. This work examines the interactions between risk and protective processes, specifically connections between mental health, substance use, sexual behavior, and social relationships for people in varied life stages. Recent projects have been with Hispanic/Latinx immigrants and college students.
